Judy wakes up with no memory of who she is and no one seems to know who she is. She learns that she had been walking down the road during a heavy snow when she was struck a glancing blow by a land rover that had swerved at the last instant to miss her. Unable to get her to a hospital due to the snow, the driver took her to a nearby house where she was cared for. Alan helps her investigate her past and she starts to care for him when she discovers that she had been engaged to Brian before the accident.
