Star Comics #3 is an anthology featuring multiple humorous stories. "Eddie" follows a character attempting to take a nap at his workplace while his boss and coworkers create chaos around him. The issue also includes a science fiction adventure in which Dan battles the villain Grid in a ray-gun confrontation within a control tower, with the mysterious character Vyona appearing to intervene at the climax. Additionally, "Jingle Jingle" presents darkly comedic vignettes, including a boy killed by standing too long on a burning ship's deck, a farmer's daughter discussing diluted milk, a child playing with dynamite in the kitchen, and a student claiming she hasn't brought her grandmother to school yet.
