The cover of this 2018 SubQ release arrests the eye immediately — a stark, close-cropped face rendered in bold graphic lines stares out with unsettling intensity, dark theatrical makeup and shadowed features filling nearly the entire frame. Halfdan Pisket's work here, with his own inking and coloring, distills everything into a stark near-monochrome palette punctuated by a single slash of blue, giving the image a cold, almost expressionist power.
