“First Steps”

In "First Steps," the Squadron Supreme is thrust into a global crisis after a hidden nano-virus unleashed by Hyperion’s ship reveals far-reaching consequences beyond North America. With a rising African general—John M'Butu, known only as "The Voice" for his unsettling psychological influence—now the focus of international fear, the team journeys to Salawe to confront a threat they never anticipated. Written by J. Michael Straczynski and brought to life by Gary Frank’s dynamic art and Jonathan Sibal’s sharp inks, this issue marks a pivotal moment in the Squadron’s mission, with cover by Gary Frank.
