# Spy-Hunters #6 "Strikeout" follows Secret Service agents protecting the President at a baseball game when Counter-Espionage learns of a plot to assassinate him using a hand grenade hidden in the grandstand. An Intelligence agent, pitcher Gillespie, foils the assassination attempt by throwing a straight fast ball that knocks the grenade from the would-be assassin's pocket, striking him down before he can detonate it. The second story involves agents investigating sabotage at an airport; George, a suspected saboteur, is revealed to have information about enemy bombs, leading to his capture and interrogation to uncover the source of the airport disturbances.
