“Destruction!”

In "Destruction!", the Troubleshooters go on a high-stakes mission to reclaim the M.A.X. armor from police custody, even as Jenny’s warnings about the suit’s unstable power pack grow more urgent. With Ken Connell visiting her in prison and Steel Hawk reactivated for a deadly assignment, tensions rise as the team races to prevent disaster—before the armor’s flaws trigger something irreversible. Written by Gerry Conway and Roy Thomas, with dynamic art by Herb Trimpe and inks by Tony DeZuniga, this 1987 issue delivers a pulse-pounding blend of tech-fueled peril and personal stakes, all on a cover by Bob Sharen.

With Jenny in prison, the Troubleshooters steal back the M.A.X. armor from the police. Ken Connell visits Jenny in prison and learns about the Troubleshooters' plans. She also tells him of her suspicions of problems with the suit's power pack. Connell saves Giotti from being killed in the malfunctioning armor by hurling the power pack high into the air before it explodes. A nearly-recuperated Steel Hawk is contacted by the Club to assassinate the UK Prime Minister who will be traveling to Boston.
