Spidey #71
In "On recherche Cyclope mort ou vif !", the fate of Cyclops hangs in the balance as Galactus prepares his arrival, setting off a chain of escalating threats across the Marvel Universe. With the Wasp stranded in a swamp alongside the Lizard, and Xavier sending half the X-Men on a covert mission, tensions rise as Colossus grapples with his growing feelings for Zsaji and Wolverine clashes with the Molecule Man. Written by Jim Shooter and illustrated by Mike Zeck, with inks by John Beatty and colors by Christie Scheele, this 1985 issue features a cover by Jean-Yves Mitton that captures the stakes perfectly.
In "Un ange d'un million de dollars," Warren, a perpetually troublemaking teen, is sent to a strict private school in hopes of reforming his behavior. Soon after arriving, he grows wings—unexpectedly—and must grapple with his new reality when a sudden fire traps students inside a burning building, forcing him to use his flight to save them.
In "Réaction en chaîne !", Galactus prepares his arrival as chaos unfolds across the globe: the Wasp crash-lands in a swamp beside the Lizard, while Dr. Doom manipulates events from afar, sending Klaw to deliver a message to a gathering of villains. Xavier, sensing the threat, sends half the X-Men to infiltrate the enemy ranks, where Colossus finds himself drawn to Zsaji, and Cyclops, Wolvie, and Rogue clash with Doom’s forces—wreaking havoc that triggers a chain reaction of volcanic eruptions.
