Spidey #25
In "Les Vengeurs," Stan Lee and Jack Kirby deliver a high-stakes clash of titans as the X-Men and Avengers converge in Bavaria, drawn together by a deadly threat: Lucifer, whose heartbeat is tied to a massive thermal bomb. With Xavier's mind blast incapacitating the villain, the X-Men must convince the Avengers to stand down—because victory over Lucifer means global destruction. The cover by Jean-Yves Mitton captures the tension of this pivotal team-up in a 6,00 FRF comic from 1982.
In "Les Vengeurs," Xavier tracks down Lucifer in Bavaria, only to discover the villain’s heartbeat is tied to a massive thermal bomb. With the X-Men and Avengers both on the scene, a tense standoff ensues as the X-Men must prevent the Avengers from defeating Lucifer—knowing that victory would mean global destruction. After Xavier incapacitates Lucifer with a mind blast, he calls for help, and the Avengers agree to stand down, letting the X-Men handle the threat. Cyclops then uses his optic beams to disable the bomb, but the full consequences of the confrontation remain unresolved.
