Arms Race is the second Spider-Punk limited series from the creative team of writer Cody Ziglar and artist/inker Justin Mason, reuniting after their acclaimed five-issue 2022 run. Marvel announced the four-issue follow-up in November 2023, with Morry Hollowell returning on colors, VC's Travis Lanham on letters, Takashi Okazaki providing covers, and Daniel Khazem editing. The series launched in February 2024 and issue #2 shipped March 27, 2024, picking up directly from the post-Osborn reconstruction storyline with the Earth-138 versions of Dok Ock and Hammer escalating their threat.
