The second chapter of The Arachnis Project mini-series puts Spider-Man squarely in the path of massive, churning mechanical diggers as he crouches in a defensive stance amid clouds of rubble and debris — the cover tagline promises "more mayhem in our nation's capital" as the machines bear down. Andrew Wildman's cover art gives the scene a terrific sense of scale, with those hulking yellow machines dwarfing the wall-crawler yet somehow making him look no less determined. If you enjoy Spider-Man stories that trade rooftop acrobatics for high-stakes industrial chaos, this 1994 Marvel offering looks like a wild ride.
