Part 2 of "Oldies" kicks off with one of the more charming covers of 2018: an elderly, white-bearded Deadpool sits on a park bench beside a wheelchair-bound Spider-Man, the two of them seemingly feeding ducks by a pond beneath a tree carved with Spidey's insignia. Squirrels, a pigeon, mallards, and a "Don't Feed the Ducks" sign round out this surprisingly serene scene — Deadpool's sword and guns still nearby, just in case retirement doesn't stick. Scott Hepburn's cover art plays the absurdity perfectly straight, making this Marvel Legacy tie-in feel like a genuinely fresh angle on the Spider-Man/Deadpool dynamic.
