Spider-Man / Deadpool #26

Part 1 of "Oldies" kicks off with a cover that captures the series' freewheeling energy perfectly — Spider-Man and a white-bearded Deadpool tumble through a dizzying aerial cityscape, trading blows over what appears to be a massive sonic weapon or industrial disc, with a giant Spider-Man mask looming in the foreground for good measure. Scott Hepburn's vertiginous composition twists the whole New York skyline sideways, giving the whole thing a kinetic, almost carnival-ride feel. With Robbie Thompson writing and Ian Herring's moody urban colors, this 2018 Marvel Legacy chapter looks like a genuinely fun ride for fans of this chaotic duo.
