Part of Marvel Legacy's "Arms Race" chapter, this 2018 issue drops Spider-Man and Deadpool into a wonderfully chaotic scene — the two are perched atop a massive, crumbling Jack-o'-Lantern golem surrounded by shattered pumpkin debris and grasping green hands clawing up from below. Chris Bachalo and Tim Townsend's cover crackles with kinetic energy, capturing the duo's uneasy partnership as Spidey crouches coolly on top while Deadpool hangs on for dear life, swords jutting out from the wreckage. Writer Robbie Thompson's run continues to find the perfect blend of action and absurdity, and this cover promises more of both.
