Spider-Man / Deadpool #16

The fourth chapter of "'Til Death Do Us…" arrives with a cover by Reilly Brown that puts both heroes in a genuinely dire spot — Deadpool is bound and ensnared by massive tentacles and chains while a web-wrapped Spider-Man dangles helplessly above him, the two of them seemingly at the mercy of some enormous, many-limbed threat lurking in the shadows. The combined Spider-Man/Deadpool emblem looming at the top of the image feels almost ironic given how thoroughly the duo appears to be losing at this particular moment. With Joshua Corin writing and Scott Koblish and Nick Filardi bringing the interiors to life, this 2017 Marvel team-up series continues to find fresh ways to put its mismatched partners through the wringer together.
