“Spider-Man Wanted!”

In "Spider-Man Wanted!", the web-slinger is still on the run, hiding the mysterious tablet in Peter Parker’s closet while the Kingpin escapes jail with a deadly promise: to capture Spider-Man and claim the tablet. As the two clash in a brutal fight, chaos erupts when Ned Leeds drags Jonah Jameson into the fray, only for a mysterious woman in a car to whisk the Kingpin away—leaving Spider-Man to face Jameson’s fury. When the Daily Bugle’s editor collapses after a heated exchange, the question looms: has Spider-Man crossed a line he can’t come back from? Written by Stan Lee and John Romita, with art by John Romita and Jim Mooney, and a cover by John Romita, this 1974 UK edition delivers a tense, character-driven story that pushes Spidey to his limits.
