“Spider-Man Part 3”

"Spider-Man Part 3" delivers a classic clash of ideals and identity in a 2006 Marvel collectible that reimagines Peter Parker’s early struggles with fame and purpose. Written by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko, with art and inks by Ditko, the story follows Spider-Man’s misguided attempt to join the Fantastic Four for pay—only to learn their heroism is unpaid—before facing a cunning frame-up by the Chameleon, who impersonates him during a robbery. The cover, a dynamic collaboration by Jack Kirby, Steve Ditko, and Artie Simek, captures the tension of the moment, while Ditko’s distinctive style brings the moral and physical stakes to life.

Peter Parker thinks that if he joins the Fantastic Four team he will be paid. That way his powers will be used for good and he'd make money. So as Spider-Man he sneaks into the Baxter Building headquaters of the FF. A battle between both Spider-Man and the FF arises. When Spider-Man finds out that the FF don't get paid for their superhero abilities, Spider-Man leaves. Mean while, a master of disguise criminal called the Chameleon plans to frame Spider-Man. The Chemeleon disguises himself as Spider-Man. During the robbery, he tricks the real Spider-Man into showing up at the scene of the crime. The police then believe the real Spider-Man has commeted the crime. Spider-Man manages to evade capture by the police. Later when Spidey tracks down the Chameleon the both of them have a battle. Which ends up proving that the Chameleon was the fake Spider-Man.
