The story starts with Spidey fighting and deating Carnage, after which he is taken away and incarcerated in the Vault. Later, Spidey hears a news broadcast that Doc Ock is being released from prison because he'd been framed, so he goes to investigate. Doc Ock then organises a prison break at the Vault, releasing Mysterio, the Rhino and Carnage, gathering them at his secret hideout. Doc Ock plans to set the three other villains on to Spider-Man, while he uses the time to create an army of symbiotes that will terminate the Wall-Crawler once and for all. Continued in Activision's Spider-Man Game.
