Spider-Gwen: Shadow Clones #4

The cover by David Nakayama says it all: Gwen Stacy is suspended in a glowing green containment tube, wide-eyed and pressing against the glass, while additional tubes flanking her hold what appear to be her own variants or clones in different costumes — a striking visual that makes the series title Shadow Clones feel viscerally real. It's a genuinely unsettling and arresting image, rendered with Nakayama's smooth, expressive linework that gives Gwen's alarm an almost cinematic quality. With Emily Kim writing, Kei Zama on interior art, and colors by Tríona Farrell, issue #4 looks like a tense, visually ambitious chapter in this 2023 miniseries.
