Speedy Rabbit accepts an invitation to visit Sir Upton-Downton at his drafty old castle in England, where he discovers the medieval fortress leaves much to be desired in modern comfort. When the rabbit decides to warm up his chilly guest quarters, his resourceful solution catches his host's admiring attention.

Sparky Smith stumbles into show business when a traveling Broadway actor offers him and his pal a chance to perform in Romeo and Juliet—but their rough-and-tumble western antics transform Shakespeare into complete chaos on opening night.
