Speed Comics #6

Speed Comics #6 is an anthology featuring multiple stories. "Shock Gibson" is the big double-length feature, in which Shock awakens in an underground cavern after smashing through a concrete block and pursues the Baron, who attempts to trap him with alligators before Shock falls into a pit. "Biff Bannion of the U.S. Marines" by Rem Brant follows, showing Biff receiving an assignment to give a patriotic talk about patriotism to rural schoolchildren. "Smokecarterb" (or similar title) by Joe C. Martin depicts two arsonists, Berg and Stein, planning to set fire to Mr. Rankin's cigar store to collect insurance money, with the story emphasizing how flames will seal the criminals' doom.
