Speed Comics #11 is an anthology featuring multiple heroes. The lead story follows Shock Gibson, the Human Dynamo, as he battles zombies armed with deadly poison gas who attempt to capture him; he is overcome by the gas and carried into a castle where he faces execution by guillotine. A secondary story presents Biff Bannon of the U.S. Marines on shore leave, where he becomes involved in a fight and is knocked unconscious, waking later with no memory of the incident. Another story features a hero named Jack Torrence who confronts a criminal called Landor; after a struggle in which Jack disarms Landor, the villain escapes in his car, leaving Jack and his allies to tend to their wounds and await the next confrontation.
