Sparkler Comics #56

An anthology issue featuring "Trader Corn," in which a trader recounts his romantic adventures across Africa and his discovery of a gold mine, including his marriage to a beautiful queen called the Little Moonflower thirty years prior and his current search to reunite with her. The issue also includes a story about Sam, a political operative who attempts to manipulate Senator Rivers into withdrawing from a primary race through various schemes, eventually arranging a meeting with a Washington reporter to sabotage the senator's campaign. The comic also contains humorous dialogue exchanges, advertisements for fireworks and novelty items, and joke sections featuring puns and comic one-liners.
