Sparkle Comics #24

Sparkle Comics #24 is an anthology issue featuring multiple stories. "Abbie and Slats" by Irvan Buren follows Cal App's attempt to sell a comic strip called "Bathless and Becky" to a newspaper syndicate, with complications arising when a rival cartoonist named Ratcliffe Ace tries to sabotage the deal by having Cal sign a contract that will prevent the syndicate from publishing without him. Another story features a commando named Marc Duval on a military mission involving Nazi sentries and a date with a woman named Lucie, during which complications ensue on a raid. A third story shows a character dealing with maritime adventures involving hooks and a ship.
