This anthology issue contains multiple stories. In an untitled story by Ernie Bushmiller, a man attempts to deceive a promoter by forging a contract signature, but the promoter discovers the deception when the man cannot produce the original copy and resorts to blackmail threats. "The Captain and the Kids" by R. Dirks features the Captain and his children encountering a wild creature that the Chief mistakes for a bug; when the Captain offers to hire the creature as a watcher, it causes mischief by shaking the children up until they go fishing, where the creature joins them and disrupts their catch. An untitled baseball story depicts a dramatic game where a batter hits a fly ball to center field instead of striking out, leading the pitcher to exclaim enthusiastically about the exciting gameplay.
