Spacehawk is captured by the pygmies of Leng and forced to confront a great beast in the arena, but the creature turns out to be the one in which he transplanted the brain of his dying friend, Captain Dakk. They both escape and Spacehawk vows to build a robot body to house Dakk's brain.
