The cover sets the tone perfectly: a rumpled, unassuming figure stands front and center on what appears to be a starship bridge, hands on hips with weary authority, while colleagues in crisp uniforms mill about behind him — one crouching nearby with a glowing drink, another consulting a tablet — and a mysterious black object sealed in a transparent cube sits on the floor nearby. It's an ensemble that promises the everyday absurdities of office life relocated somewhere among the stars, and issue #1 is a very promising starting point.
