Space Ghost #6
In "Fixing What's Broken!", Jace grapples with inner turmoil after the fallout of Zorak’s death, retreating into isolation and documenting his struggles in a personal journal that frames the story’s emotional core. As Moltar obeys Doctor Xander Ibal’s orders to assault Contra Industries—fueled by a long-standing grudge—Jace must confront whether he can still be part of the team, even as he feels broken. Written by David Pepose and illustrated by Jonathan Lau with colors by Andrew Dalhouse and letters by Taylor Esposito, this issue explores resilience through quiet moments and personal reckoning. The cover by Francesco Mattina captures the tension of the moment with sharp, dramatic detail.

The sinister Robo Corp CEO, Doctor Xander Ibal (whom we met in issue #3) prompts Moltar to attack rival Contra Industries, against which Moltar harbors an intense hatred. Deeply affected by his killing of Zorak last issue, Jace decides that he is "broken" and cannot continue to partner with Space Ghost as do Jan and Blip. Jace keeps a journal describing both his mental state and the events that continue to swirl around him. The journal serves as a "narration device" that carries through the story. Relegating himself to technical projects, Jace comes through in the end to help defeat Moltar.
