From a catastrophic future comes Space Spectre to right the mistakes of weakness on the part of the Ghost Team that led to the deaths of "untold trillions". Space Spectre is a nightmarish analog to Space Ghost who kills without hesitation to accomplish his goals, primary of which is to stop Robo Corp's "Project Ultima" and the disaster its launch will ultimately bring. Space Ghost and his team intervene on the side of their usual enemy Ibal, but are bested by Space Spectre. Who is Space Spectre, and what traumas drive him? The first of those questions is answered on the next-to-last page.
