A pilot's routine courier flight turns perilous when a faulty oxygen seal forces him to pass out adrift in space, triggering a hallucinogenic nightmare populated by impossible visions and mysterious beings. As consciousness and delirium blur together, he struggles to distinguish between the dream spawned by oxygen deprivation and a genuine encounter with strange travelers of the cosmos. When rescue arrives, the line between nightmare and reality becomes impossible to untangle.
When a colossal meteorite the size of a small moon enters Earth's orbit on a collision course, Captain Simmons of the UN Patrol must intercept it and devise a desperate plan to save civilization. With evacuation already underway across major cities and only days before impact, Simmons rallies hundreds of patrol ships to attempt the impossible: using their combined rocket thrust to alter the meteorite's trajectory and spare the planet from catastrophe.
