“Le dieu des profondeurs”

In "Le dieu des profondeurs," Conan and his companions—Athicus, Escelan, and Galter—follow the river Zarkheba after fleeing Xucha, drawn by rumors of a lost city. When they find it, they discover a woman bound to a bed, claiming her master Moloch leads a caravan that follows the Maribuntas, monstrous ants that devour entire lands and collect their spoils. After her companions fall in battle, Conan sets out alone to confront Moloch. Written by Doug Murray and illustrated by Rich Buckler, with inks by Romeo Tanghal, this 1992 issue features a striking cover by Earl Norem.
