Southland Tales #1

This collection kicks off the graphic novel adaptation of Richard Kelly's film Southland Tales, expanding the story of a dystopian near-future Los Angeles. Two Roads Diverge gathers the first three issues of the series, setting up the intersecting narratives of amnesiac action star Boxer Santaros, porn star Krysta Now, and the mysterious neo-Marxist underground. The artwork is provided by Brett Weldele, whose moody, sketch-like style complements the film's paranoid, satirical tone.
