Becky Cloonan and Andy Belanger's sci-fi thriller reaches its tenth issue with a cover that immediately sets the mood: a figure in casual clothes tumbles helplessly downward, wide-eyed and desperate, while enormous hands loom in from above — the deep teal palette by Lee Loughridge giving the whole scene an eerie, suffocating atmosphere. Cloonan's cover art captures that unsettling sense of vulnerability that has made Southern Cross one of Image's most atmospheric ongoing series of 2016.
