IDW's Sonic the Hedgehog #55 brings "Overpowered, Part 4" to a fever pitch, with this cover showing Sonic and Tails sprinting alongside a menacing Metal Sonic — all three dashing across what appears to be a massive, looming creature — while a villainous figure riding a hovering, cannon-equipped craft bears down on them from above. Aaron Hammerstrom's cover composition packs in tremendous energy, stacking threats both above and below our heroes for a wonderfully chaotic sense of danger. With Stanley, Thomas, and Graham bringing the interior to life, this 2022 issue promises a pulse-quickening chapter in one of IDW's most consistently entertaining ongoing series.
