The issue contains two stories: "Sniffy in Busy as a Bee," where Sniffy the pup travels to California and encounters flowers and a bee with comedic results; and "The Doubting Duck" by Marty Arnold, in which a conceited duckling named Dawson who claims to know everything gets his foot caught in a mill-wheel at a pond, learns humility from the experience, and ultimately accepts the wisdom of listening to his elders' advice. Additionally, the issue features a story about Senor Sniffy confronting a bull-fighter in what appears to be a bullfighting scenario, where Sniffy is mistakenly thought to be a bull and must escape the conflict.
