Snappy #18
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThis January 1957 Humorama digest delivers exactly what its tagline promises — "Lively Cartoon Comedy! Man's Gags!" — with a cheerful pin-up photo of a smiling brunette in a pink ruffled top sharing the cover alongside two of Bill Ward's signature cartoon gags. Ward's witty illustration work is on full display in the panel vignettes, including a flirtatious street encounter and a cheeky museum scene captioned "I'll take it if you will guarantee that it isn't shrinkproof!" At a quarter a copy, Snappy offered a lighthearted escape, and this issue even includes a quip attributed to Blaze Starr on the pleasures of "budgeting the balance.
