Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow #21
In 1632, a lone ninja falls in battle, his sword stolen by unseen hands. In 2012, that same blade surfaces at a gallery, drawing the attention of Storm Shadow, the Hard Master, and a squad of soldiers—each with their own claim. When the Hard Master secures the sword and retreats to a secluded pagoda, he’s ambushed by Storm Shadow and a wave of enemy ninjas. Forced into an uneasy alliance, the two rivals uncover a hidden storage area—and a familiar mask that ties their fates to a mystery deeper than either could have imagined. Written by Chuck Dixon and illustrated by Robert Atkins with inks by Atilio Rojo, colors by Simon Gough and Joana Lafuente, and lettered by Neil Uyetake, the cover by Robert Atkins captures the tension of that pivotal moment.
