Smitty the flying office boy accompanies his boss on an airplane trip to the boss's hunting lodge in the north woods, where the boss plans to take him flying in his aerplane. When Smitty's mother worries about the dangers of flying, Smitty reassures her, but after three weeks away, the boss and Smitty return to the airfield where they are mistakenly greeted as the "round-the-world fliers," leading to a celebration with crowds and officials cheering their unexpected arrival.
