Smile: For the Camera #3

Issue three of IDW Dark's mature-rated Smile: For the Camera arrives with a cover by Skylar Patridge that is genuinely unsettling in the best way — a sharp-suited man flashes a too-perfect grin at the center of the frame while a ring of photographers closes in around him, their camera lenses replaced by leering, disembodied mouths lit by blinding flashes. The crimson lighting and that crowd of faceless, smiling lenses give the whole image a deeply eerie glamour that feels right at home in 2026's IDW Dark lineup. With Hannah Rose May writing and Miriana Puglia on art and inks, colored by Dearbhla Kelly, this series continues to look like one of the more stylishly unsettling books on the shelf.
