Egmont Polska brought Pat Mills and Dermot Power's Celtic warrior to Polish readers with this 1999 edition of Sláine, opening the "Skarby Brytanii" (Treasures of Britain) story. Dermot Power's cover is a striking piece of work — the bare-chested, tartan-cloaked Sláine lunges forward with sword and war-hammer raised, roaring with barely contained fury, while a red-haired woman watches from the foreground and distant figures and a cauldron-tending figure loom in the background. It's a vivid introduction to the barbarian hero's world of Celtic myth and raw, muscular fantasy.
