Skeleton Warriors #2

Based on the animated series of the same name, this May 1995 Marvel/Landmark title brings the world of Skeleton Warriors straight to the page. The cover puts a blue-and-yellow-armored hero front and center, wielding a jagged crystal weapon while shielding a red-haired woman as skeletal enemies close in from all sides — a tense, kinetic scene that sets up the promised "Assault on Castle Lightstar!" nicely. Fans of the cartoon will find plenty of familiar energy here in this action-packed second issue.
