This issue contains two stories from the Six-Gun Heroes anthology. In "Gunmaster and Bullet in the Return of Doctor Dynamite," the villains use dynamite-projector rifles and dynamite sticks as weapons against Gunmaster, who faces off against Doctor Dynamite and his gang. In the second story, a Cheyenne kid named Clay instinctively uses his six-gun to defend himself against a puma, earning respect from the soldiers who find him; Major Mollineaux, the soldier who had been stalking Clay to kill him, is killed by the animal instead. A third story features a cowboy in a red shirt and a woman named Annie, involving characters named Jake, Purty, and Clan in some kind of shooting contest or conflict.

Gunmaster [Clay Boone]Bullet the Gun-Boy [Bob Tellub]Doctor Dynamite

When Gunmaster and his young partner Bullet the Gun-Boy learn that Doctor Dynamite has struck the town of Two-Pass and vowed to return, they devise a clever trap using the mountain passes that guard the town's only entrances. But Gunmaster's old nemesis proves to be even more dangerous than before—armed with a fiendish dynamite projector rifle and a gang of ruthless outlaws, Doctor Dynamite is building what he calls a "Legion" to seize the West by force. Now outnumbered and facing weapons of devastating power, Gunmaster must outthink a villain whose mastery of explosives may finally be more than even a seasoned gunfighter can overcome.

Devil Cat
6 pp · Western-Frontier
Cheyenne Kid

The Cheyenne Kid answers a cavalry major's desperate call to hunt down a vicious white mountain lion terrorizing the army's remount depot—a predator unlike any he's encountered before, one that lays deliberate traps and stalks its hunters with unnatural cunning. As the Kid pursues the creature through lonely canyons and high country, he discovers the cat has turned the tables, becoming the stalker rather than the stalked. In a final confrontation that tests every ounce of his frontier survival instinct, the Cheyenne Kid must face this "devil cat" on its own terms.

Pawnee Boy
3 pp · Western-Frontier

When a Sioux warrior abandons a Pawnee infant at Whipsaw's door during a brutal blizzard, the Pony Express agent takes the boy in and raises him as his own—naming him Little Cayuse. Years later, when the child is just seven, his extraordinary gift for hearing danger approaching from miles away becomes crucial when hostile Sioux raiders threaten the station and its riders. Little Cayuse and Whipsaw must defend their home, unaware that fate is about to close a brutal circle from the boy's past.

Tiger! Tiger!
6 pp · Western-Frontier
Annie Oakley

When a traveling circus rolls into town, Annie Oakley finds herself caught between two suitors: the charming circus sharpshooter Clay Masters and the bumbling local Jake, who's determined to prove his love—and bravery—by hunting down the circus's Bengal tiger for her. What starts as a love triangle spirals into chaos when Jake's plan to make her a pair of tiger-skin chaps puts him face-to-face with a very angry, very real predator, forcing everyone to discover who Annie's real hero truly is.
