This anthology issue features two stories. "Behind the Guns" stars the Gunmaster, who enters a hidden cave and transforms into a man of action to combat enemies after receiving a token from a Sioux brave that promises protection against rattlesnakes. "Harrison Trail" is a text story recounting episodes from the life of John Harrison, a non-drinking lawman born in 1850 who owned the Bar-H Ranch from 1874 to 1886 and once captured the outlaw Jed Oliver by using a hand-pumped fire engine to drench him and his gang with water. The issue also features stories involving the Tansey Brothers, Annie Oakley, Wild Bill Hickok, and Lash LaRue, as indicated on the cover.
