Rocky Lane and his companions pursue the outlaw Black Jack through the hills, losing him near a stage depot. Planning to intercept the criminal at the next stagecoach stop, they devise a scheme involving a rigged clock and a disguised old man to trap Black Jack when he boards the stage. After successfully capturing the outlaw at a ranch, Rocky and his men find themselves surrounded by Indians led by Chief Blue Moon, forcing them to make a dangerous escape by collapsing the Indians' tent and riding away on horseback.
