When he learns the owner of the Walking Double X ranch has been robbed and his hands are off-duty, he races to stop the rustlers—only to find the trail leads to a trap set by a cunning pair of thieves. As he closes in on the outlaw Speedy, he realizes the real mastermind has already vanished, leaving him to track the stolen cattle across the region.

Tex walks into a café claiming to be a food hater, shocking the manager with his declaration—only to reveal he’s joking, delighting in the surprise. The twist leaves the manager stunned, turning his boast into a playful prank.
