“No me lo digas cantando”

In "No me lo digas cantando," Marta faces a delicate crisis when her secret is on the verge of exposure: Julio, the boy she’s been meeting at the rink, arrives at the very house where she works as a servant. Panicked, she confides in her friend Claudia, who makes a daring decision—she swaps clothes with Marta, stepping into the servant’s uniform while Marta pretends to be her. The story unfolds with quiet tension as Julio, unaware of the switch, invites Claudia to skate, setting up a moment of personal risk and emotional reckoning. P. Mir’s expressive art brings the emotional stakes to life, while Edmond Fernández Ripoll’s cover captures the story’s delicate suspense.

Marta had met Julio at the skating rink the day before and he accompanied her to her 'home', but it was really the house where she works as a servant. Now Marta is in a panic when she sees Julio knocking on the door and quickly confesses her situation to Claudia. After seeing Julio through the peephole, Claudio decides she would like to go skating with him. She makes a pact with Marta and trades her clothes for Marta's servant uniform. Marta tells Julio she can't go skating, so Julio takes Claudia instead.
