Against a sun-drenched Miami skyline of palm trees and glowing purple-pink dusk, a confident, shirtless figure with pink hair and a dazzling sequined eye mask gazes out from Travis Moore's striking cover, a dark-winged cape draped across his shoulders and a flamingo perched at his side. It's a vivid, stylish introduction to Image Comics' five-issue series, with Tamra Bonvillain's saturated colors giving the whole composition a charged, neon-soaked atmosphere. Andrew Wheeler and Travis Moore are clearly swinging for something bold with "Chapter One: Love Is a Stranger" — a superhero story wrapped in glamour, attitude, and unmistakable flair.
