“Exchange Student”

In "Exchange Student," a young man named Miro finds himself caught in a strange chain of events after tricking an elderly man into believing he has telekinetic powers—only to discover the old man is actually in charge of Earth’s gravity. When the man panics and alters gravity to prevent movement, Miro must use his unexpected telepathic abilities to reach him and set things right. A story drawn by Robert Q. Sale with inks by the same, and a cover by Bill Everett, this issue from Alan Class’s Sinister Tales series delivers a quietly surreal twist on responsibility and power.

Miro tricks an old man into thinking he has telekinetic powers and can move objects. Because the old man is responsible for running the machine controlling Earth's gravity he thinks he's been derelict and modifies gravity so no one can move. Miro discovers he really is telepathic and sends a message to the old man to release people. Miro decides to work at a gas station rather than use his powers again.
