“The Confederate Girl”

In "The Confederate Girl," a 1975 Alan Class comic, a team of explorers unleashes ancient horrors when their steam-powered machines thaw a frozen Arctic landscape—uncovering a Viking ship, a living dragon-like creature, and warring alien giants frozen in time. Written by Joe Gill and illustrated by Bill Molno with inks by Vince Alascia, the story blends pulp adventure with eerie prehistoric mystery, all framed by Steve Ditko’s striking cover art.
