Sinestro #5

Sinestro is quite literally caught in the grip of something far older and more terrifying than himself — the cover by Rags Morales depicts the yellow-clad villain-turned-antihero being seized by the vast, skeletal, luminous form of Parallax, the fear entity, whose massive reptilian body blazes with sickly golden energy against a cosmic backdrop. A second yellow-ringed figure reaches out nearby, adding to the sense of desperate struggle as the enormity of Parallax dwarfs them both. Cullen Bunn, Dale Eaglesham, and Jason Wright bring their New 52 series to a fever pitch with this October 2014 issue, promising that no wielder of the yellow light — not even Sinestro himself — is immune to fear.
