When the guilt-ridden director Spinter threatens to expose the program, he is brutally punished by Duffy, a monster born from the same experiment. Geena, uncertain and conflicted, delivers a vial of Simms’ blood to Silke as requested. Written by Tony Daniel and Nicole Duclos, with art and inks by Tony Daniel, and colored by Transparency Digital, this issue’s cover by Tony Daniel captures the tension of a world where identity and memory are dangerously mutable.

Silke et Rorey traquent l'ancienne participante au projet de recodage génétique, Geena Matthews, qui n'est pas morte comme la plupart le croient, mais qui vit sous une nouvelle identité en tant que top model. Ils demandent son aide mais elle prétend que cette vie est derrière elle. Le réalisateur Spinter succombe à la culpabilité et menace d'exposer le programme au public. En réponse, Spinter le donne à manger à Duffy qui a été transformé en monstre par le projet. Geena a des doutes et apporte à Silke une fiole de sang de Simms comme on lui a demandé de le faire.
